This department was born from our desire to bring craftsmanship closer to home. By creating a space where ideas are translated into tangible pieces, we’ve been able to support our clients with truly custom furniture solutions—pieces that enhance the beauty of their environments while also reflecting the care and integrity Sage is known for.

A Seamless Collaboration with Interior Squad

From the beginning, this department has worked in close partnership with our inhouse interior design team, Interior Squad. This collaboration ensures that every furniture piece is not only finely crafted, but also aligns seamlessly with the overall design vision. The result: interiors where architecture, furnishing, and form come together with unity and intention.

Empowering the Next Generation: Apprenticeship & Training

More than a production space, this department is also a learning environment. Through our apprenticeship program, we provide training and mentorship to individuals passionate about entering the trades. Apprentices receive hands-on experience in woodworking, materials, custom fabrication, and design interpretation guided by seasoned artisans who are dedicated to teaching not just technique, but pride in one’s craft.

Our goal is to foster a new generation of skilled makers, individuals who can build, innovate, and grow within a supportive, purpose-driven environment.

We’re also excited to share a major development in our production focus:
We are now producing custom classroom desks at scale.
This shift allows us to directly support educational environments by providing thoughtfully designed, durable furniture for schools and learning institutions. It’s a meaningful step forward for our department allowing our work to have a lasting impact on the places where students learn, grow, and imagine their futures.
